About IIMK LIVE

IIMK LIVE is the Business Incubator and Entrepreneurship Development Centre of IIM Kozhikode.      LIVE (Laboratory for Innovation, Venturing, and Entrepreneurship) aims to build a unique startup ecosystem to contribute to the nation’s economic goals.

Established in September 2016, this centre of excellence promotes innovation, new business venturing, and entrepreneurship among qualified startups.

It offers intensive mentorship, business services, training, networking opportunity and access to funding to help new entrepreneurs and startups.

cmercury’s success journey towards IIMK Live incubation

Admission to incubation program at LIVE was a highly competitive process.

Selection for IIMK Live is based on multiple criteria to evaluate business innovativeness, feasibility, strengths, and market opportunity. Having an innovative business idea/ product is a mandatory criterion.

After the initial screening, the panel shortlisted cmercury to the next level from a host of other applicants. Shortlisted applicants had to present the start-up idea and business plan to the selection committee at the IIMK campus.

Though the pitch doc presentation and the interview seemed to be gruelling, team cmercury aced it with elan. By the end of the selection process, cmercury made it to the prestigious IIMK Live incubation.

THe LIVE panel focuses on selecting innovative startups that make an economic impact. The main intent was to assess the leadership and to test the market viability of the business idea.

cmercury’s advanced Machine Learning helps auto-fetch the best product recommendations and unifies customer engagement across multiple channels.

Experience so far:

Recognition, networking and learning opportunities are some of the main benefits cmercury has gained through this incubation. We are happy to get an additional smart workspace equipped with the latest smart tech to move into the next orbit of growth. Above all, the mentorship by subject matter experts from IIMK faculty is a valuable learning experience.
